Holy smokes, it’s taken me a long time to get this post up! So sorry for the delay, but you know how life goes sometimes…
To celebrate my achievement of 500+ followers, I hosted a Giveaway and Q&A!
Congratulations, Ishita, on winning my giveaway for $20 to spend at the Book Depository! Thank you to everyone who entered!
I told you guys to ask me some questions, whatever you would like to know about me, and I got some really great questions from you guys. Some of them took a lot of time to think about the answers. Lol. I have decided to break this Q&A down into two parts, so here is Part 1…
Cassiopeias Moon asked me: “What would you blog about if you didn’t blog about books?”
This is a really interesting question… and I think I’d have to say that I wouldn’t blog if I wasn’t blogging about books. Books are my passion, and I don’t think anything else would interest me enough to blog about it. Lame? I know.
Sammie @ Bookshelves & Biros asked me: “What do you find most frustrating about being a blogger?”
I would say the time it takes to blog. It’s so time consuming and sometimes becomes quite stressful for me. But I’m working on strategies to better my time management skills.
“Where do you see your blog in a year?”
Like everyone else, I hope my blog continues to grow… I want it to be something that people enjoy reading. That’s my goal here. To make myself and my readers happy. 🙂
“If you could be best friends with a character from any book, who would it be and why?”
I recently just finished Six of Crows (you can find my review here), so I’d have to go with Jesper. He is so loyal and funny and adorable and I just love him so much! He would be the perfect best friend.
Ashley @ Inside My Minds asked me: “What is your favorite thing about the book blogging community as a whole, and what do you think could be improved?”
Great question! My favorite thing about the book blogging community is that it is so welcoming to newcomers. It’s like one big family of book lovers and I love being a part of something so great as this. For the most part, I think us book bloggers stick together and have each other’s backs. But every now and then, some negativity might work its way into the community, and that’s the only thing I don’t like. Negativity. If we could morph any negativity into some positivity, that would be a great improvement!
Debby @ Always Booking asked me: “What are your favorite genres?”
My favorite genres are Fantasy and Historical Fiction, although I haven’t been reading much of the latter lately. Hopefully I’ll be able to get back into some good HF books soon! I’ve been missing the genre a lot!
That’s it for Part 1 of my Q&A! Thank you to everyone who asked me questions. It was fun answering them! If you asked me a question, but it isn’t on this post… don’t fret! Stay tuned for Part 2 of the Q&A coming up in the next couple days! Talk to you soon!
