500+ Follower Q&A (Part 2)

Hello, guys! I’m finally getting the second part of my Q&A posted! Wooo! I know what you’re thinking though… “It’s about time, Megan!” Sorry! But here it is for you lovelies! Thank you again so much for the questions! I love all of you and appreciate all the followers!

Anne @ Inked Brownies asked me: “As a young mother, where on Earth do you find the time to read and blog?”

This was a really great question, Anne! And it’s actually very difficult to pull off. As you guys can see, I’m usually late posting, or behind on everything (including my reading lately) because being a mother takes a lot of time. Luckily, my son is eight years old now, so the really hard parts are over! But it still can be very time consuming. What I usually try to do is set aside certain times of the night to blog or prepare posts, and while he’s at school, I will read and/or blog hop.  Let’s just say that sleep doesn’t come easily for me! Lol.

Casey @ Adopt a Book AUS asked me: “What post are you most proud of?”

I think I’m gonna go with my The Benefits of Buddy Reading discussion post simply because it was my very first REAL discussion-type post on my blog and the first post to hit 90+ likes on my blog. So I am definitely VERY proud of that one! Check it out, if you haven’t already.

“What is your favorite thing about blogging?”

I love the interaction between all of us bloggers. It’s so much fun discussing books and chit-chatting with other readers like me.

Linda & Nicole @ Page Pixies asked me: “When did you start book blogging?”

I believe the exact date was August 8, 2016. I know, not very long ago!

“How did you grow your blog so fast?”

I like to think that it’s because my content is superbly amazing! Haha, just kidding. Seriously, though… I think my interaction among the community and other bloggers helped me grow and get my blog out there more.

“What’s your favorite part of book blogging?”

Up above, I said that I love the interaction between all of us bloggers. But I also want to add that I love reading reviews and hearing the differences in opinions on books. I love how two people could read the same exact book, but each have completely different opinions on it. It really amazes me! I love it.

Misty @ Misty’s Book Space asked me: “What advice would you give to people who are still fairly new to blogging? Any tips or tricks you could give us to help us up our game?”

Technically, I’m still new to blogging… but if I had to give any advice, it would be INTERACT, INTERACT, INTERACT! You can build so many bonds with people and throughout the community by simply interacting with others. I know it can be time consuming, but it’s so worth it in the end. Also, make your blog unique. No one wants to see the same theme on every blog they click on. Or the same exact content. Make it YOURS. OWN IT! You will thank me, I’m almost sure of it.

Danielle @ Books, Vertigo, and Tea asked me: “What do you personally feel has contributed the most to your great and well deserved success on your fantastic blog?”

I honestly had no idea when I started this blog that it would take off as quickly as it did. And I’m still going to say that I think interacting throughout the community probably played a huge role in that success. I like to think I’m a pretty positive, up beat person, so maybe that had something to do it with as well? Not sure. But what I can say, is whether it is my content, my layout, my personality, etc etc… I am so grateful to be a part of this community and I appreciate each and every one of you. You really have no idea!!

That’s it for my Q&A Part 2! Once again, thank you for all your questions! Some of them were really tough to think of answers for! Lol. You guys are great and have made my blogging experience so wonderful! I love you all!

  1. I totally agree with the whole interacting part. You get to meet so many awesome and like-minded people that way 😀 Congratulations on your blog’s success! Loved reading your answers 😀

  2. Thank you for that answer! ❤ So it's difficult but doable. I'm already having poor time management skills right now ;). Interacting is definitely what helps you get out there. That was some great advice Megan!

  4. Nice answers, Megan! 🙂 Your buddy post was when we first started talking all the time. It was a really good post. I can’t believe that was your first one. It didn’t seem like it at all. You’re doing really well. Keep up the good work, girl! I’m looking forward to our buddy read on the 17th! 🤗

      1. Oh, you’re a MILF then! 😂😂😂😉
I think that’s cool bc you’ll still be young when he gets older and will be able to understand him on a diff level. Are you a single mom or do you have help?
